Kalyan Chakroborty

Kalyan Chakroborty is the Managing Editor of JUSCIVITAS and a Lecturer in the Department of Law at Uttara University, Bangladesh.  He is an Advocate enrolled to practice before the Subordinate Courts of Bangladesh. He holds LL.B. and LL.M. in International Commercial Law degrees from North South University, a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Genocide Studies from the University of Dhaka, and a Postgraduate Fellowship from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He is among the first Bangladeshis to be awarded the prestigious DLA Piper Global Scholarship, recognizing his academic excellence and leadership potential. As Managing Editor of JUSCIVITAS, Kalyan Chakroborty oversees the blog's editorial operations, maintaining high standards of academic integrity, quality, and publication ethics. He is dedicated to advancing JUSCIVITAS as a dynamic platform for rigorous legal scholarship, informed public discourse, and meaningful engagement among academics, practitioners, policymakers, and students.
